chasing pavements

I have been listening Adel's "chasing pavements" lately. What a beautiful and dainty way to express feeling. I think everyone has had this feeling that you don't know where you are going, but just walk on the pavement which leads somewhere you still are not sure yet.
Whenever I listen to this song, I think of pavements at meat packing district of NY in winter.
