welcome to NY!

 

My sister and mother are here in NY for a week!  

My sister goes to Diamond District to run errands for me.  I feel like I'm a mom who sends a child for her first errand in her life.  Everything is so different from Japan for them.

After 13 years of living in NY, I tend to forget what it was like to live in overseas. 

To me, my mother is way too polite even to strangers.  I just hope people will be nice to her while she's here so that she will like NY.

I love pearls, and I rather like ones with some unique character in it such as odd shapes or colors that you can't describe in one word than perfectly white round pearls.

I think "girl with a pearl earring" says that all.  That pearl she's wearing in the painting is my ideal pearl.

Honestly it is so rare that I find the pearls that I really like.  When you go to gem shows, you will be so confused by looking at thousands of pearls at one time.  

But those pearls called me and I asked them if they wanted to come home with me.  Here, they are now beautiful earrings.

 

For me it's not the price to determine the beauty of pearls.  

You might be surprised how reasonable those prices are on my website, and they are truly beautiful to me and I want more people to wear pearls.  

I don't know why but when I look at pearls I think of mothers in the world.  They are warm and gorgeous.
